Today we’re kicking off a series featuring the authors and stories from Issue 10.

Every once in a while, you get a story in your slush that just seems right: everything about it clicks for you, and you snap it up. Stephanie’s prose is so strong and clean that I immediately trusted her to tell a good story, and she kept her promise. As Stephanie says in her video, this is a personal story for her, and the authenticity shines through.
